Frank Turner dog musher from Muktuk kennels and Tom discussing tactics. Frank has traveled from Whitehorse to Fairbanks with a team of dogs in the Yukon Quest every year until the last couple of years. He has been a winner and record holder. He is training other mushers to compete with his dogs.
G`day Tom and Steve, I guess the dog sleds follow the river. Seems to be safer than going by road. Several of of old farts [kayakers] in Coffs Harbour, will be following your adventure with interest.
